I do like his work but I feel he spoils some of it by plotting far too many twists. I haven't read all of his work (and this is something I need to rectify) but I think I have have read all of the Lincoln Rhyme novels and The Broken Window and The Vanished Man are those that stand out and remain my favourites.<br /><br />I have to be honest and say I don't remember much about The Burning Wire (hence why I would like to win it and read it again) but I do like your comment about what if Lincoln had died following his medical episode. I agree that it would be impossible to keep such a thing secret and the cat would be let out of the bag by some inconsiderate reader/reviewer.<br /><br />It would be an interesting avenue to explore though because just what would happen next ? <br /><br />I would like to think that Mr Deaver would be capable of delivering such a twist. Would his fans revolt at such an outrage?
